Puerto Escondido diving and surf destination

If you are an enthusiastic diver looking for some of the more exotic dive spots around the world, Puerto Escondido in Mexico could be the place for you. Puerto Escondido is a small surfer town in Mexico that is growing rapidly. It is only 45 minutes away from Huatulco, another great port in Mexico with plenty of diving, surfing, boat rentals and other aquatic adventures. In Puerto Escondido you can dive volcanic rock reefs and has a tremendous variation in exotic marine life which you can also see on a snorkeling trip. If you are up for a week or more of diving you can also rent the boat Lucia Celeste where you will sail around the Mexican waters and go to hidden dive spots around Mexico. This boat can sail from Acapulco, Ixtapa or Puerto Escondido.
